If your hair is breaking after bleach or highlights

Start with Revive. Lightened hair is porous before it is anything else. It drinks up water, stretches when wet, and snaps at whatever point takes the most friction. Hydration and slip come first, because hair that slides does not catch, and hair that does not catch does not break as easily. Once it feels like hair again, add Fortify if it also reads thin.

If your hair is fine and everything weighs it down

Go straight to Fortify. Fine hair does not need more product, it needs lighter product. Most people with fine hair are using something built for thick coarse hair, then blaming their hair when it goes limp. Fortify cleans without stripping, conditions without dragging, and supports the scalp so hair looks fuller.

If your ends feel rough and grabby

This is the tell I look for first, and it is the whole idea behind what we make.

A smooth strand glides past its neighbours. A damaged strand has a lifted, roughened surface, so it catches on every other strand, on your brush, on your collar, on your pillow. Frequently asked questions

Can I use Revive and Fortify together?
Yes, and many people should. Wash with the line that matches your roots, treat with the line that matches your ends, and style with both. The Elixir Duo is the simplest way to do it.

Which line is better for color treated hair?
Revive. Color and lightening leave hair porous and dry, and Revive is built to put moisture and smoothness back. If your color treated hair is also fine and flat at the root, wash with Fortify and treat with Revive.

Does Fortify make hair grow?
No. Fortify is cosmetic care. It supports the scalp and helps hair look fuller and feel stronger. What actually changes how long your hair gets is keeping it from breaking off, which is the entire reason I built these products.

How long before I see a difference?
Most people feel the change in how hair combs and behaves within one or two washes. Two weeks is a fair test, which is why the Two Week Test exists. Results vary depending on the starting condition of your hair.

I have fine hair but my ends are fried. Which do I buy?
